Our flat rate is $55 per unit. For spaces larger than a single unit, we calculate the price based on these units. Please note, there is a minimum charge of 2 units ($110) for all jobs, which covers the use of our professional steam cleaning equipment.

  • Regular Bedroom (approx. 3m x 4m): 1 Unit = $55

  • Living Room / Large Room: 2 Units = $110

  • Stairs: 1.5 Units = $82.50

  • Landings / Passageways: 0.5 Units = $27.50

For larger jobs, we often provide an estimate upfront based on these guidelines and finalize the price on site. We’re also happy to offer discounts for bigger projects - just ask!

What Steam Cleaning can't Do

While steam cleaning is excellent at deep cleaning carpets and upholstery, it does have its limits:

  • Stain Removal: Steam cleaning can greatly improve stains but cannot guarantee full removal.

  • Colour Changes: Natural carpet fading from sunlight exposure or ageing can affect results.

  • Odours: Persistent odors may improve, but some may remain. Severe odors, such as animal urine, might require multiple treatments.

Please note: For severe odours, booking a second steam cleaning session may be necessary to achieve the best results.

How Long Does It Take To Dry?

This is a tricky question to answer as the time carpets take to dry depend on a few things:

1. The type/thickness of carpet
2. The weather that day (and thus the air temperature)
3. The type of machine used (and thus how much steam used)
4. The condition of the carpet

In general, however, we would say that most carpets dry within 4-8 hours. Faster and slower than this is possible, especially depending on the weather, but this would be our general estimate.

An average time per room would be around half an hour, with additional time needed to clean hallways and stairs. This is of course subject to things like room size, furniture, and anything else that may impede our ability to clean.

How long does it take for steam cleaned carpets to dry?

This is dependent on a handful of factors, such as the type/thickness of carpet, the weather that day (and thus air temperature), the type of machine used, and the condition of the carpet. Generally we say between 4-8 hours to fully dry however it’s probably best to allow 24 hours to be safe.
