Oven Cleaning – The Green Gleam Way

Let’s face it - no one enjoys cleaning their oven. It’s one of the most time-consuming and stubborn jobs in the kitchen. That’s where we come in. At Green Gleam, we offer professional, affordable inside oven cleaning as an optional add-on to your cleaning service, saving you time and serious elbow grease.

Why Book an Oven Clean?

Your oven is one of the most used (and abused) appliances in your kitchen. Grease, food splatter, and burnt residue can build up quickly, requiring strong products and focused effort to clean properly. Our expert cleaners take care of it for you — leaving your oven fresh, clean, and ready to use.

What’s Included:

Our oven cleaning process typically takes 30 to 60 minutes and includes:

  • Applying high-quality oven cleaner and allowing it to soak

  • Scrubbing the interior walls of the oven

  • Cleaning trays, racks, and grills

  • Wiping and scrubbing hinges and removing stuck-on residue

  • Cleaning the interior and exterior of the oven door glass

What’s Not Included:

While we provide a thorough clean of your oven’s interior, we are not a specialized oven disassembly service. This means we don’t take the appliance apart like some niche companies do - but that’s what helps us keep pricing competitive and results impressively effective.

Note: Older ovens may have permanent marks or wear that can’t be removed entirely, but we’ll do our best to bring out the best possible result.

How to Book an Oven Clean with Green Gleam

You can add an oven clean to any of our services in two ways:

  • Flat Rate Service: Select your home size and simply add “Oven Clean” as an extra.

  • Hourly Service: You can either request oven cleaning be done within your booked hours (allow approx. 1 hour), or add it as an extra for dedicated time.

Fridge Cleaning by Green Gleam

Our fridge cleaning service is simple yet effective. We carefully empty your fridge, clean all shelves, drawers, compartments, and the entire interior before putting everything back in its place - leaving your fridge fresh and hygienic.

Please note: For exceptionally large fridges, additional charges may apply.

Also, we do not clean freezers as these generally require defrosting before cleaning.

How to Book Your Fridge Clean

Booking an inside fridge clean with Green Gleam is easy:

  • Add it as an extra when booking a Flat Rate clean based on your home size.

  • Or book an Hourly Rate service and either request fridge cleaning within your booked time (please allow approximately 30 minutes), or add it as an extra for dedicated attention.

Our Cabinet Cleaning Options

1. Inside Kitchen Cabinets (Empty)
Perfect for move-ins or move-outs, this option includes a thorough clean of all empty kitchen cabinets and drawers. We ensure all surfaces are wiped and sanitized, leaving your storage spaces fresh and ready to use.

2. Inside Kitchen Cabinets (Full)
If your cabinets are currently full, we’ll carefully empty them, clean the interior (not the contents), and return your items neatly. This detailed process takes extra time and care, which is reflected in the price.

3. Inside All Other Cabinets/Drawers
This covers non-kitchen storage areas including bathrooms, bedrooms, laundry rooms, and other fixed cabinets. It's a simple way to give the rest of your home’s storage the same deep clean attention.

Inside Window Cleaning – Streak-Free Shine by Green Gleam

-Let the light back in with spotless, streak-free windows. At Green Gleam, our professional teams are fully equipped to clean all accessible interior glass surfaces in your home. We ensure your windows are crystal clear and enhance the brightness and freshness of every room.

What’s Included

Our inside window cleaning covers all internal glass panels throughout your home. From bedroom windows to living room glass doors, we ensure thorough cleaning using safe, effective products.

Please note:

  • Fly screens or obstructions must be removed by the customer prior to the clean. Our teams do not remove screens due to potential damage.

  • If your home has a high number of windows or large glass surfaces, additional time or cost may be required. We’ll confirm this on the day if necessary.

  • We do not offer exterior window cleaning, unless easily accessible (e.g., via a balcony). Please contact us to discuss these options.

Balcony Cleaning – Refresh Your Outdoor Space with Green Gleam

-Your balcony deserves just as much care as the rest of your home. Whether it’s a cozy morning spot or a relaxing evening escape, Green Gleam’s Balcony Clean service brings back its shine and comfort.

What’s Included

Our Balcony Clean service includes:

  • Sweeping and mopping the floor

  • Wiping down reachable surfaces

  • A light tidy-up to leave the space fresh and usable

Ideal for regular upkeep or a one-time refresh.

Sizing & Extras

  • A standard balcony is defined as up to 10 square meters.

  • If your space is larger, we adjust the service accordingly. For example, a 25m² balcony = 2.5 Balcony Cleans.

  • Note: This service does not include balcony glass or balustrade cleaning. However:

    • If you book our Inside Window Cleaning extra, we’ll clean the interior of balcony glass and accessible balustrades.

    • Due to safety reasons, we do not clean exterior balustrades or use ladders on balconies.

At Green Gleam, we understand that laundry can be one of the most time-consuming chores in your routine. That’s why we offer convenient on-site laundry services as an optional add-on to your clean. What’s Included:

  • Washing, drying, and folding of your clothes

  • Carried out using your appliances and preferred settings

  • Careful handling to ensure quality and efficiency

What to Expect:

  • On average, we can complete 1 load of laundry per 2 hours of service time

  • Typical cycles:
    • Wash: 45–60 minutes
    • Dry: 30–45 minutes

  • For teams of two, please note laundry may impact how cleaning time is distributed

Blind Cleaning Options: Light Dusting vs. Wet Wiping

Light Dusting (Included in Standard Cleans)
If your blinds are cleaned regularly, a quick light dusting is all they need. Green Gleam includes light dusting of blinds in our Flat Rate and Spring Cleaning services. This involves gently running a duster over the blinds to remove surface dust—ideal for routine upkeep.

Wet Wiping (Optional Add-On)
If blinds have been neglected for a while, they may have a visible build-up of dirt and dust. In these cases, light dusting won’t be enough. Our Wet Wiping Service is the perfect solution. We carefully hand-wipe each blind to ensure a deep clean, restoring freshness and appearance.

Please note: Wet wiping is charged per blind and involves thorough cleaning of each slat.

How to Book Wet Wiping of Blinds with Green Gleam

There are two flexible ways to include this service:

  • Option 1: Book any Flat Rate service and add the "Wet Wipe Blinds" as an extra.

  • Option 2: Book an Hourly Cleaning, and either:

    • Add the blind cleaning as an extra, or

    • Request it to be included within your booked time (approx. 30 minutes per blind).

Walls Cleaning by Green Gleam

At Green Gleam, we use safe and effective methods to remove scuff marks, stains, and general dirt from your walls. During our End of Lease and Spring Cleaning services, we include the removal of a few major scuff marks. However, for walls with numerous light to medium marks, we recommend booking our Wall Cleaning as an additional service.

Note: Results may vary based on wall condition. Older paint can be delicate and may peel even with gentle cleaning. While we aim for the best possible outcome, extremely dirty walls may not return to a "like-new" appearance.

How to Book Wall Cleaning

You have flexible options to add wall cleaning to your service:

  • Flat Rate Service: Simply select the "Wall Cleaning" extra when booking your clean.

  • Hourly Service:

    • Add wall cleaning as an extra or

    • Request it to be included within the booked hours (allow approx. 15–30 minutes per wall).
